How we Screw up the data... even when we try to fix it
The Life Sciences industry continues to scale data generation and standardization, yet biological insight remains stagnant. This panel will be a lively discussion between those who agree and those who challenge this assumption: that more, cleaner data leads to better understanding. Do current datasets -- and the knowledge graphs built on top of them -- lack the resolution required to capture biological reality? Are our ontologies flattening complexity? Are we standardizing away discovery? And can knowledge graphs evolve into true world models grounded in physics and causality, or are they reinforcing the very limitations we need to escape?
