The AbbVie Reasearch and Development Convergence Hub (ARCH) harmonizes over 230 different sources of internal and external experimental, clinical, and biological background knowledge into a single semantically-enriched knowledge graph. The ARCH lies at the heart of AbbVie's emerging cognitive enterprise, but delivering graph-powered insights to senior prinicipal scientists requires innovative knowledge aggregation strategies. To address this need, we have created the Systematic Weight AI Graph score, or SWAG score, to quantify the strength of various direct and indirect evidence linking promising therapeutic target genes to the disease which they might treat most effectively. SWAG scores assess millions of potential target-indication pairs to prioritize therapeutic mechanisms with high probability of success, accerelating the decision making process for senior prinicipal scientists across all of our core therapeutic areas. To enhance the interpretability of SWAG scores, we have created Disease Area Dashboards which display the scores alongside other graph-powered metrics and disease-specific datasets to create a personalized view of existing evidence for AbbVie's discovery research projects.
