As an ontologist, I must shamefully admit using data structures that are NOT graphs. I stored phone contacts, weight lifting information, task lists, etc., in things like spreadsheets and bulleted word documents. I realized that this is a wonderful opportunity to practice what I preach to others: try storing this stuff in a knowledge graph. In this presentation, I'll show how my journey has gone on this front, how it's made me a better ontologist, and how it has made me more sympathetic and practical in guiding others to use ontologies.
