Having worked on Knowledge Graphs in e-commerce for 7 years, I find it sometimes hard to believe why for many e-commerce sites KGs are like an afterthought or a luxury, when they go so well into solving many common problems, such as improving SEO and internal search, providing customers with the right kind of information at the right kind of time, and can also guide their browsing with recommendations that are context-aware and explainable. It is high time for practitioners in this area to come together and compare notes. This is also a fantastic meetup for e-commerce experts that are new to knowledge graphs.
