Building Agentic APIs With LLM Tool Use & Knowledge Graphs

The true power of LLMs isn’t in building chatbots, but rather leveraging AI models for implementing agentic workflows in the applications we build, adding features to our apps powered by LLMs that interact with APIs and data sources directly where the LLMs make decisions about control flow. This hands-on workshop will introduce the building blocks for adding LLM backed agentic features to your app and demonstrate how we can use them together to add AI backed intelligent features. Using the open-source Modus AI API framework and the open-source Dgraph knowledge graph we will apply these techniques: chaining data and LLMs together, leveraging LLM function calling and tool use, and agentic knowledge graph RAG.
