Knowledge-based AI has been launched into the mainstream as it serves as the antidote to LLM hallucinations in RAG systems—an increasingly visible feature but just one of many critical applications in which Knowledge-based AI is being used to enrich data, accelerate queries, and answer complex questions.
But what is Knowledge-based AI? What are the practical benefits? How can I start using it in my own projects?
These are the questions we will answer in this workshop as you get hands-on with a Knowledge Graph and Knowledge-based AI Engine, writing rules and seeing the benefits first hand.
We will cover ontological reasoning with OWL, advanced functionality with Datalog (aggregates, negation, calculations etc.), and discuss the practical applications of the rules we write.
Starting with a blank slate, we will import data and then write rules and queries to extract valuable insights, all while making real-time updates to the data and rules-base.
Ultimately, we will end with a discussion of the applications leveraging Knowledge-based AI today and how it can be used to supercharge other practical use cases, including RAG-based systems.
